How to make Fruit Smoothie

Fruit smoothie is often made from raw fruits making them a great source of digestive enzymes also. These enzymes are only present in raw fruits and vegetables and they help the body to digest food. Getting enough raw food enzymes reduces your risk of developing heartburn. Raw fruits are also more nutritious because none of the vitamins and minerals have been destroyed in the heating process.

The antioxidants found in many fruits and berries help repair cell damage. These antioxidants make fruits not only nutritious foods, but anti-aging foods and immunity boosting foods also. Fruits are always low in fat, making them a heart healthy food and foods that encourage a healthy weight.

Making smoothie is very simple. Just put all fruits and vegetables into a blender, add enough orange juice (alternativelly water) and blend until desired smoothie-like consistency.

Don’t mix up the same fruits and vegetables every day. Experiment with different combinations and try add things such as lemon juice or cinnamon. Adding raw nuts or seeds to your blend will increase the protein level of your smoothie.
